Former Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar has issued a powerful call to action, declaring that BRS party workers will not rest until K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) is once again the Chief Minister of Telangana. Speaking at a key meeting of BRS activists in Lakshmi Nagar, Bhadrachalam constituency, he took a tough stand against political rivals. He vowed that those who enjoyed the benefits of KCR’s leadership but later spoke ill of him would not be allowed to touch the gates of the Assembly in the next elections.
During his speech, Ajay Kumar focused heavily on the Sitarama Project, describing it as KCR’s brainchild. He criticized Congress leaders for trying to claim credit for the project, joking that they simply turned on the motors and splashed water on their heads as if they had built it themselves. He further alleged that the current government is more interested in collecting commissions than in completing public works, leading to a “every man for himself” situation in the administration.

The former minister also highlighted the struggles of farmers under the new regime. He reminded the audience that KCR provided 24-hour free electricity and ensured that every single grain was purchased even during the terrifying COVID-19 pandemic. In contrast, he claimed that the Congress government has failed to even open procurement centers, leaving farmers stranded. He also questioned why urea is missing from shops but available in the black market, accusing the government of neglecting basic agricultural needs.
Finally, Puvvada attacked the Congress party’s “six guarantees,” calling them “420 promises” that have remained unfulfilled. He noted that the financial support for farmers, which used to be timely under KCR, is now being released only when elections are near. He urged the party cadre to work with total dedication to win the maximum number of seats, insisting that Telangana’s “good days” can only return if KCR is back in power. Senior leaders including Rega Kantha Rao and Mane Ramakrishna were also present at the event.
