Plot Summary

The film opens with the plight of Kishanlal (Pran), a poor driver betrayed by his gangster boss, Robert (Jeevan). Kishanlal is arrested, leaving his wife Bharati (Nirupa Roy) and three young sons destitute. Bharati, rendered blind in an accident, is forced to abandon her sons near a park. The three boys are adopted into different families, each representing one of India’s major faiths. Amar is adopted by a Hindu policeman, Akbar is raised by a Muslim tailor and Antony is adopted by a Christian priest. Brothers Cross Paths
The brothers cross paths multiple times but remain unaware of their familial connection. The return of the villain Robert and the vengeance-seeking Kishanlal sets the stage for the final act.
