Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a warm welcome upon his arrival in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, on Wednesday. He was received by a delegation of senior BJP and NDA leaders, underscoring the party’s collective commitment to the region.
Leading the welcome party was Dr. Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, National Co-Incharge of BJP Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. He was joined by several prominent figures, including, Nainar Nagenthran, MLA and BJP Tamil Nadu State President, Palaniswamy, Former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Arvind Menon, Incharge, BJP Tamil Nadu, Dr. Tamilisai, Former Governor, Annamalai, Former BJP Tamil Nadu State President, Pon Radhakrishnan, Former Union Minister and officers and leaders.
Congratulates PM on Bihar Victory and Pledges TN Commitment
During the reception, Dr. Sudhakar Reddy extended heartfelt congratulations to the Prime Minister on the “grand, landslide and decisive victory” of the NDA in the recent Bihar Assembly elections. Dr. Reddy credited the win to the “trust and faith the people have placed in the leadership of Narendra Modi ji.” Assuring the Prime Minister of the party’s future focus, Dr. Reddy stated that, under Modi’s guidance, the party will work “collectively with renewed commitment and energy for the betterment of the organisation and the broader NDA alliance” ahead of the forthcoming Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. Dr. Reddy further expressed confidence that the continuous efforts of the BJP and its allies will strengthen governance and ensure the spread of development-focused politics across all states.
Historic PM-KISAN Fund Release Commended
A significant part of the discussion focused on the Prime Minister’s dedication to the agricultural sector. Dr. Reddy specially thanked PM Modi for his pro-farmer initiatives that are helping crores of farmers nationwide. He highlighted the day’s historic moment where PM Modi released Rs.18,000 crore as the 21st installment of PM-KISAN funds, which is being directly credited into the bank accounts of farmers. The Prime Minister’s visit marks a high point for the state unit as the NDA alliance prepares to intensify its activities for the upcoming polls.
