The Hi-tech City Railway Station—a vital suburban railhead serving Hyderabad’s bustling IT corridor—has undergone a stunning Rs 26 crore redevelopment under the Ministry of Railways’ Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Serving a diverse daily crowd of over 3,000 commuters ranging from corporate tech professionals to daily contract workers, the station is fully upgraded and ready for inauguration. This project is part of a larger, massive modernization blueprint by the South Central Railway (SCR), which is transforming 121 stations across Telangana and the region into ultra-modern transit hubs with a total investment of ₹4,605 crore.
