An Exclusive Interview of Prime Post with President, International Gandhi Patham Busireddy Sankar Reddy on Telangana’s Development, Farmer Welfare, and National Politics.
BRS and BJP are Intentional in Spewing Venom Against Congress Government
Prime Post: You have recently praised Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s administration. What makes you say his governance is transparent and effective?
Busireddy Sankar Reddy: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is a rare leader who speaks the truth with complete transparency. Look at the current water crisis: due to the severe El Niño effect, the entire world, nation, and state are suffering from droughts and acute water shortages. Instead of recognizing this natural calamity, opposition parties like the BJP and BRS are intentionally spewing venom against the Congress administration. They are politicizing a natural disaster to mislead the public. The Chief Minister has been evolving schemes to save the state and farmers from the drought.
Prime Post: Why are you so critical of the BJP’s national political stance?
Busireddy Sankar Reddy: The BJP has taken its rhetoric a step further by slandering the Congress party, which fought and won independence for India. They constantly spread lies against Mahatma Gandhi and India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. The BJP played no role in the Indian freedom struggle, yet today they attack the very party that built the country. Furthermore, through voter manipulation and vote theft, the BJP prevented Rahul Gandhi from becoming Prime Minister in the general elections.

Prime Post: What key and practical achievements of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stand out to you? Do you have specific details regarding the new healthcare projects?
Busireddy Sankar Reddy: In his governance, CM Revanth Reddy has delivered on concrete, ground-level promises for the welfare and development of Telangana. One can consider the Maha Lakshmi scheme, crores of women travel for free across RTC buses, saving families thousands monthly. Gas cylinders are provided at Rs 500, and under Gruha Jyothi, households receive up to 200 units of free electricity. In case of Healthcare and Housing, the government launched Cheyutha, extending free medical coverage up to ₹10 lakh for poor families, alongside the Indiramma Indlu program providing financial assistance for house construction. The state government has been extending extraordinary health services to poor and vulnerable patients suffering from kidney and heart ailments. In providing these healthcare initiatives, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reflects the compassionate approach of Y. S. Rajasekhar Reddy. The state government has allocated generous funds for the renovation and expansion of NIMS and Osmania General Hospital and it will help poor a lot.
Prime Post: Given the volatility in Telangana’s agricultural sector, what key policy marks and measures has Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy introduced to support farmers?
Busireddy Sankar Reddy: Pertaining to agricultural, Chief Minister executed a massive farm loan waiver, releasing funds directly into farmers’ accounts, and conducted large-scale recruitment through TSPSC to fill thousands of long-pending government job vacancies. In Khammam district, Godavari waters are coming to the fields and farmers are expressing happy over it.
Prime Post: Given the widespread distress among unemployed youth due to the lack of jobs, what concrete steps has Chief Minister Revanth Reddy taken to resolve the employment crisis in the state?
Busireddy Sankar Reddy: Chief Minister had a great vision on future infrastructure and projects like the Bharat Future City and the revival of the Musi River project show a solid long-term vision for sustainable growth. As far as Future City, thousands of jobs will be created with it and Musi River Project will be shaped as lifeline of Telangana.
Prime Post: What is your outlook on the future of Telangana and central politics over the coming years?
Busireddy Sankar Reddy: I travel extensively across the statenation and collect feedback from people at the grassroots level. The public across India has realized the manipulation tactics of the BJP and is looking towards Rahul Gandhi’s leadership. The next central government will undoubtedly be formed by Congress under Rahul Gandhi. In Telangana, Revanth Reddy’s visionary leadership ensures that the Congress government will rule for the next 25 consecutive years. Both the BJP and BRS will be relegated to history as forgotten forces, while Congress shapes the future of the state and the nation.
