The US administration submits draft US-Russia Peace Plan to the Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky recently. Widespread speculation is going rounds on the content of the Draft Peace Plan and many suggestions made to Ukraine to stop the war is embarrassing one to President Zelensky.
According to BBC report, it proposes to hand over those areas of Ukraine Industrial eastern Donbas region still under Ukrainian to the defacto control of Vladimir Putin Russia. The Ukraine should cut the armed forces size to six lakh mark against the present estimated 8.80 lakh. It guarantees and confirmed the Ukraine’s sovereignty and there would be a total and complete, comprehensive non-aggression agreement between Russia, Ukraine and Europe. The plan will provide perfect or reliable “security guarantees” for Kyiv apart from a demand for snap election in 100 days. In case Russia were to invade Ukraine a ‘Robust co-ordinated military response’ is proposed along with a restoration of sanctions and a scrapping of a deal.
Bring back Russia into Global Economy
Several points refer to Russia being bought back from isolation with Russia to be integrated into the global economy and invited back into the Group-8 powers. It is a long-way off for now, with Putin under an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court. It is recalled that Russia was thrown out of G-7 after it seized Crimea in 2014. Now, Donald Trump tried to bring Putin back in to the fold. Reliable information is Russian special envoy Kirill Dmitriev is reliably spent for three days with Steven Witkoff discussing this plan to suit Moscow.

It is recalled that Russia’s consistent demand that a peace plan would need to eliminated what is sees as “the root causes’ of the war. One among the root causes is halting NATO expansion in Eastern Europe, which the draft appears to deal with.
What about Russian Frozen Assets in US
The draft proposes that $100bn of frozen Russian assets should be invested in Us-led efforts to rebuild and invest in Ukraine with the US receiving 50 percent of the profits and Europe adding $100bn in investment for rebuilding and reconstruction. It is a deal that was made between Ukraine and US earlier this year on Ukraine minerals. It seems the US is keen to press ahead fast under an “aggressive timeline” with this draft, with reports suggesting Ukraine has until Thanksgiving late next week to agree to it.
