Potu Ranga Rao, the State Secretary of CPI (ML) Mass Line, alleged that people fighting against multinational companies for looting the country’s wealth and resources are being shot dead in fake encounters. Speaking at a press conference organized at Ram Narasaiah Vignana Kendram in Khammam on Wednesday, he expressed his anguish that those who question the government’s evil policies are being eliminated.
Ranga Rao demanded that the killings, which he called the “Operation Kagaar” murder spree of fake encounters being carried out by Narendra Modi and Amit Shah across the country, should be investigated by a Supreme Court Judge, and action must be taken against those responsible. He demand for an immediate stop to the killings under the guise of encounters. He also criticized the government for refusing talks with Maoists, despite the Maoists coming forward, stating the government initially announced readiness for talks but then deceived them in practice.
“Hidma’s is definitely a Fake Encounter”: Former MLA Gummadi Narasaiah
Former Illandu MLA and Happy State leader, Gummadi Narasaiah, stated that the attacks and murders which began in September from Karreguttalu have now become intense. He said that while murderers have gone down in history, Naxalites and people’s leaders have never been eliminated. He criticized the government for branding people’s leaders as “anti-development” and spreading misinformation. He alleged that conspiracies are being hatched to kill people’s leaders and that there are open boasts about eliminating communists and Naxalites.
Looking at the scene where Hidma died, Narasaiah expressed suspicion, saying, “With broken teeth and a shattered body, this is undoubtedly a fake encounter.” He criticized the act of shooting and killing Maoists even when they were willing to change their ways as an anti-democratic measure.
The press conference was also attended by CPI (ML) Mass Line Central Committee member K.G. Ramachandar, party State Secretariat member Kenchela Rangaiah, and other leaders including K. Rama, V. Prabhakar, Chinna Chandranna, Nandi Ramaiah, Sadanandam, Pitla Ramakrishna, Nayini Raju, C.Y. Pullayya, G. Ramayya, and Avula Ashok.
